Back to School Night will be Monday, August 24th, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Class lists will be posted on the front door of the school. You will also have an opportunity to sign up for the PTA or School Community Council. These organizations provide essential support to our school community.
School Hours: M-Th 9:00-3:35, F 9:00-2:20
In the interest of safety, please do not drop off your children before 8:30 AM, as there is no supervision before that time. Also, please be sure to pick up your children by 3:45 in the afternoon.
Arrival Times:
Our school day begins at 9:00 AM every day. Please be sure to have your child/children here on time. Students who are consistently tardy are at a clear disadvantage and usually arrive feeling frantic and unprepared. All students who arrive after 9:05 AM must sign in at the office with a parent. If your child will not be present, please call and inform our school office at 435-792-7696.
Door Schedule:
Morning Routine:
- Doors Open: Our school building doors will open at 8:40 am, Monday through Friday.
- Breakfast Time: Breakfast starts serving at 8:40 am. To ensure your children are safe and supervised, lease do not drop your students off before this time, as doors will remain locked and staff will not be available to let them in.
- School Bells: Our first bell rings at 9:00 am. If your student arrives after this time, please have them check in quickly at the front office.
Afternoon Pick-up: We want to make sure every child gets home safely!
- Monday through Thursday: The end-of-day bell rings at 3:35 pm. Please plan to pick up your students before 3:50 pm.
- Friday: The end-0f-day bell rings a bit earlier at 2:20 pm. Please plan to pick up your students before 2:35 pm.
- Note: We do not have staff supervision available after these pick-up windows, so your promptness is greatly appreciated!

School Community Council
Dear Heritage Parents/Guardians:
We are so excited for a new school year! We have a few openings for our School Community Council that we need to fill for the upcoming year and are looking for people who would be willing to help us out. Community Council meets once a month, on the 2nd Wednesday, from 4:00 - 4:45 PM. If you are interested in serving on our community council, please contact either our Principal Lance Robins lance.robins@ccsdut.org or Administrative Assistant Angela Sorensen: angela.sorensen@ccsdut.org
State law requires that an election be held for community council positions if the number of interested candidates exceeds the number of vacancies. If an election is necessary, more information will be provided and ballots will be available in our office. Thank you for your support of our school. We look forward to a great year.
Sincerely,
Heritage Elementary School
