Dual Language Immersion Updates
Important Updates for Spring Creek Elementary and Dual Language Immersion (DLI) and Open Enrollment
We want to make sure you have all the necessary information about upcoming enrollment periods, especially with the exciting change to the magnet Spring Creek Elementary School for Spanish and French. Please know that we are sending this information as soon as we receive it and there may be changes.
Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Program Applications
Spring Creek Elementary will be the magnet school housing the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program for Spanish and French starting in the fall of 2026!
● Application Window: The DLI application will be available from November 1 until December 31.
● Who Should Apply: This is for students applying for a DLI spot in both Kindergarten and 1st Grade for the 2026 school year.
● A Note on Kindergarten: The school's initial plan is for traditional kindergarten; however, students must attend kindergarten at the magnet school in order to start the DLI program in 1st grade.
Key Information for DLI Applicants:
If your child is applying to or has been accepted into the DLI program, you DO NOT need to complete the general Open Enrollment application.
1. Starting DLI: Families interested in the DLI program must first apply for a spot using the dedicated DLI application: CCSD DLI enrollment page
2. Automatic Enrollment: Once your child is accepted into the DLI program, their Open Enrollment status will be automatically granted for Spring Creek Elementary.
3. Current DLI Students: Students currently enrolled in a DLI program will be automatically enrolled at the new Spring Creek Elementary and do not need to take any action.

Open Enrollment for 2026 for anyone not attending your boundary school and not in the DLI program
Due to the construction of the new school, the Open Enrollment period has been adjusted for this year.
